Reviews are the most powerful tool in my arsenal for getting attention for my books. Much as I’d like to, I don’t have the financial muscle of New York publishers. I can’t put out full-page ads in newspapers or hang posters on the subway (not yet, anyway).

But I do have something much more powerful and effective than that, and it’s something that those publishers would kill to get their hands on.
